With over 40 international speakers from the animation and games industry, SAND 2008 is the 9th International CG and Animation Conference held between Monday 24th and Friday 28th November in Swansea, Wales.

SAND is the place to meet people, share experiences in CGI and create new ideas for films, scientific visualisation, commercials and games. SAND includes conference sessions on games, procedural animation, films, post production techniques, TV commercials, motion capture, also with animation screenings from around the world, professional sector workshops and business seminars.

SAND continues to highlight the most recent international developments in CGI, as well as share in innovative practice with other businesses and presenters.  SAND encourages collaboration and networking, providing a wealth of opportunities for company networking.

Based on the convergence of people, technologies and ideas using CGI, this wholly unique event brings you the latest developments from Blitz Games, EA Games, Allegorithmics, Double Negative, MPC and Aardman Animations, amongst others, as well as Acting for Animators Ed Hooks and animé expert Jonathan Clements.
