Creative Industries Knowledge Transfer Network creates networking siteThe Creative Industries KTN stimulates and encourages innovation in the creative industries, helping people to realise the potential of the creative industries to motivate lasting change.They engage with all sectors across the creative industries to ensure a landscape perspective of communities and their potential for innovation. The beta site has launched to allow like-minded people to communicate and collaborate. They aim to bring together leading thinkers and practitioners from the UK and beyond, to share the latest technology insights and find ways to maximise potential within the creative industries. The KTN provides 14 Beacon Projectsto be undertaken over the next 2 years, exploring the opportunities & challenges faced by the Creative Industries in relation to technology focused innovation. Each Beacon will produce a vision for the future that will help guide the strategy and direction of organisations and business for future success. They cover a range of themes and raise questions pertaining to all the creative industry disciplines including art, architecture, design, fashion, advertising, publishing, and video games.
